About Us
Tioga High School is steeped in rich history and tradition, serving the Ward 10 community since its founding in 1915. Guided by our mission to provide an encouraging environment through Academic Excellence, Positive Attitudes, and Activities promoting school Pride and Honor, Tioga High has grown alongside its community, adapting to meet the evolving needs of its students. From its humble beginnings in a one-room schoolhouse to its modern facilities, the school has been a testament to the unwavering support and dedication of the Ward 10 community. Over the years, bonds and taxes voted on by residents have funded numerous renovations, including the addition of a state-of-the-art multipurpose facility in 2017. Tioga High also cherishes its traditions, such as the cheerleaders’ iconic “Indian Reservation” dance, which has been performed for over 50 years. These customs, coupled with an emphasis on academic excellence and school pride, continue to foster a sense of unity and loyalty among students and alumni. With a commitment to growth, tradition, and excellence, Tioga High School remains a cornerstone of the community, preparing students for a bright future while honoring its storied past.
